This summer I decided to enhance my outdoor living area (aka deck) with a cooking center. I decided on Viking's outdoor appliances. So I spent the last three weeks trying to do as much research as possible. My first stop...Google. Other than the Viking company site most of the hits were from the likes of nextag, pricegrabber, mysimon, and about 100 other "store fronts". I just could not find any individual who wrote about their experience with the Viking products. I was both surprised and frustrated. Either no one had taken the time to review the product or SEO had buried anything useful to me. I asked my friend Dean what he thought. He said that people who purchase this quality of product don't have the time or desire to write about their experiences. And that was the tipping point.
I hope you are enjoying your Viking Trusear. Just wait until you need repairs. Then you really won't find any informtion.

I purchased a Viking grill, Viking outdoor bar fridge and a Viking stainless cabinet. The only thing I haven't had problems with is the cabinet.
On the grill the electronic ignition would not stop clicking when the right most burner was on. Took an authorized service company 3 tries to fix it. It still happens to this day. The service provider finally told me not to use the right burner or unplug it and use a match. Not bad for a $8K grill.
The Fridge would not keep temp. It would constantly go to zero. Broke a bunch of wine. It was $1,200 piece and broke after 14 months. Viking did pay for the parts but it took Appliance Masters 7 trips to my house to fix.
Not impressed with Viking quality.

Friends are those rare people who ask how we are and then wait to hear the answer.
